Join us!Job Description:Responsible for the investigation of internal employee fraud, abuse and misconduct. Manages escalated and specialty investigations in addition to standard investigations.Ensures thorough, timely investigations with consistent application of INTERNAL ENTERPRISE INVESTIGATION (IEI) practices.Ensures significant investigative issues and/or trends are identified, escalated and acted upon through investigation reports and other IEI and enterprise escalation paths.Has detailed knowledge of regulatory, reputational, operational, and legal risks encountered in course of investigations.Thorough knowledge of bank systems/technology used in the course of investigations, as well as the enterprise, businesses, products, core corporate functions and bank policies. Maintains relationships with key business partners, and ensures proper internal parties are engaged on investigations in accordance with IEI practices.Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, exhibits confidence and clarity of message when presenting to executive audiences.Provides consultation and guidance on investigative related issues to influence partners and outcomes. Documents cases appropriately and may file crime reports and testify in both civil and criminal court matters. Responsible for identifying suspicious activity in case investigations and making appropriate filings/notifications.Partners with and guides Internal Investigators on cases as assigned.May lead investigative related task forces and/or special projects.Does not manage employees.Role Description:

  • Responsible for high risk and complex investigations of internal employee fraud, theft and abuse, market misconduct (such as front running, market manipulation, and insider trading), whistleblower claims and senior officer misconduct claims. Manages escalated and specialty investigations in addition to standard investigations.
  • Ensures thorough, timely investigations with consistent application of Internal Enterprise Investigations (IEI) practices.
  • Ensures significant investigative issues and/or trends are identified, escalated, and acted upon through investigation reports and other IEI and enterprise escalation paths.
  • Has detailed knowledge of regulatory, reputational, operational, and legal risks encountered in course of investigations.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank systems/technology used in the course of investigations, as well as the enterprise, businesses, products, core corporate functions and bank policies.

    • 5+ years' experience conducting investigations, preferably in the area of financial crimes, fraud, or the financial industry.
    • Prior financial crimes and/ or market misconduct related investigations experience
    • Knowledge of Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) requirement
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Capacity for managing competing priorities, effective time management, thoroughness, and initiative.
    • Proficient in Microsoft suite and other software.Skills:
