Triad Financial Services is looking for a Controller. The Controller is responsible for all operations within Triad's accounting department including daily and weekly transactions, the month-end close process, monthly reconciliations and accounting projects. You will be the Advisor to the CFO regarding enterprise level and financial decisions and strategy. The Controller will also collaborate with Triad divisions and director of project management regarding projects impacting accounting. You will also partner and coordinate with holding company's and the accounting team. The Controller will need to report to our Jacksonville, FL headquarters on a daily basis. This is not a remote or hybrid position. The salary range is 140K to 170K plus a potential of a 20% annual bonus.Below are some of the responsibilities of the role:Responsible for the coaching and development of the entire accounting department (23 total). This will include managing assistant controller, accounting managers and supervisorsManage and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity Help develop and support short-and long-term accounting department strategiesAudit oversite for the following: End of year external, Quarterly reviews, Internal audits and oversee the Black Line reconciliation process.Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, workflowsOversite of all Triad banking relationship and their related accountsResponsible for the execution of all payroll entries and related reconciliations.External Reporting and Compliance Support; NMLS Call Reports, Mortgage Bankers, HUD annual Filing and GSE Accounting and support. State compliance and state audit requestCoordinate with holding company regarding external tax filingsAdvisor to CFO regarding enterprise level, financial decisions and strategy.All other duties assigned by Chief Financial OfficerPM22

Requirements:
15+ years of accounting experience, with a degree in accounting and CPA license required. Extensive (+10 years) experience within the mortgage Industry required Controller or assistance controller experience required Experienced leadership over accounting staff and accounting supervisors and managers. Extensive experience (+10 years) with mortgage Industry Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong numeracy and analytical skills Good problem-solving and time management skill Highly organized and detail-oriented Experience in SAP is preferred but not required Type at least 30 WPPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephoneAble to sit at a work station for prolonged periods of timePI202030226
