FL Overview The Compliance Department protects the Bank by advising
on ethical conduct, identifying regulatory solutions, safeguarding
integrity and reputation, and promoting, in partnership with the
Business, a culture of Compliance. Given the increasing regulatory
scrutiny and the need to implement a robust and globally consistent
control framework, an effective surveillance function is a key
component to the department's success. We are seeking an Analyst
level Compliance Officer within the Communications Surveillance
team. Your primary focus will be to conduct surveillance of
electronic communications & voice communications to detect
potential insider trading, market abuse, and/or violations of the

programs What You'll Do * Responsible for daily surveillance of
electronic and voice communications to ensure compliance with
appropriate rules, regulations, and firm policies * Perform
research and investigations to identify the reason for potential
violations * Document research results and escalate violations
and/or suspicious activity according to firm policy and regulatory
requirements * Work with members of the Firm's Business Lines,
Compliance, Legal, and other departments, to identify, analyze,
investigate, and resolve issues * Perform ad-hoc reviews which may
consist of inbound, outbound, and internal correspondence * Ability
to analysis, in partnership with members of Trade Surveillance
staff, quantitative and qualitative reviews of the trading activity
in specific business areas, and work on ad-hoc Surveillance
Projects as needed Skills You'll Need * Work experience in
regulatory, audit, compliance, risk, surveillance, or equivalent
role a plus * Minimum of a College degree (prefer in Finance,
Business, or Accounting) or equivalent work experience *
Knowledge/experience with financial markets and an array of
financial products (including stocks, bonds, equity/credit
derivatives) * Excellent verbal communication and written skills,
fluency in foreign language is a plus * A proactive approach to
tasks and responsibilities, ability to multi-task effectively and
handle change well, and detail-oriented, coupled with strong
problem-solving skills; ability to communicate issues to Senior
Management in an effective manner, and works well under pressure
and within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy Skills That
Will Help You Excel * Team player with great attitude,
interpersonal skills, and strong work ethic * Self-motivated and
excellent communicator (writing and verbal) * Advanced MS Excel
(pivot tables, experience with large data sets, proficient in data
