Job Description:
Position Summary: This position is responsible for working
closely with the Recruiting team, assisting with any and all steps
in the recruitment and selection process, and other
applicant/employee-related HR functions.
Essential Functions:
? Responsible for assisting the Recruitment Team with the
recruitment and selection process:
o Scheduling, testing, and following-up with applicants; assisting
with applicant screening, searching, and selection; coordinating
candidate travel as well as preparing and sending out offer letters
and rejection letters.
o Assist the recruiting team with maintaining applicant data in
Success factors, applicant tracking system; This includes assisting
with monitoring and regularly updating data/information for hiring
managers and recruitment staff, typing and entering questionnaires,
as well as attaching interview notes and applicants? test scores,
and entering criminal background check information for proper
documentation and audit trails.
o Manage the flow of candidates through the recruitment process,
from scheduling interviews to bringing new employees on board;
? Monitors the HR Recruitment mailbox; responds to inquiries and/or
assigns to the appropriate team; serve as backup for other HR
support staff as needed.
? Compile and process expense reports for Recruiting team.
? Tracking for Employee Referral Program, liaising with payroll for
payment releases.
? Conducts daily administrative activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,Word)
? Ability to prioritize workload, plan, organize, and coordinate
multiple tasks and projects
? Analytical skills and ability to use problem-solving
techniques
? Strong attention to detail and ability to be accurate
? Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
? Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information
? Demonstrated skill at working in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment with a strong customer service orientation
Required Education:
? Associates degree in field with transferable skills to position
OR two years relevant experience OR a combination of college and
relevant experience equivalent to two years
AND
? 2 or more years of experience in administrative work in a
corporate setting. Additional post secondary education may
substitute for require experience on a year to year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
? 2 or more years of HR recruiting-related experience in either
agencies or in a corporate environment
? Bachelors degree
? PHR Certification (preferred but not required)
? Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
? Experience working with temporary staffing agencies and/or
property insurance industry
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to sit
for long periods of time, hear and converse over the telephone, and
key frequently on a computer (4 or more hours per day)
