The Stock Loan Operations team at Cantor Fitzgerald Securities is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our trading desks, ensuring smooth trade execution, and developing a strong foundation in stock loan markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of trading and operations, directly contributing to the firms success. Responsibilities Support trade booking, settlement, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Assist with daily mark-to-market adjustments for non-DTC participating clients, maintaining compliance. Manage callback and return processes, including allocation, booking, and outgoing returns, efficiently. Review DTC RAD approvals under supervision, contributing to risk management. Coordinate month-end billing, reconciliations, and counterparty communications, maintaining strong relationships. Perform Contract Compare to minimize risk exposure and ensure accuracy in trade agreements. Participate in Start-of-Day and End-of-Day account balancing, supporting trading activity and risk management. Provide ad hoc operational support to multiple trading desks, adapting to their unique needs. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve operational processes and efficiency. Qualifications Internship experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets, with exposure to operations or trading support preferred. Foundational knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and financial instruments, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an excellent eye for detail, ensuring accurate trade execution. Effective verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with colleagues and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with an interest in learning advanced functions to enhance operational efficiency. A team-oriented mindset, able to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, providing a solid educational foundation. Eagerness to learn and grow within the role, demonstrating a proactive and motivated attitude. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities, ensuring a high level of performance.
