CIT Group is currently looking for an individual with Marketo experience that can join the team. This individual will be reporting to the VP of Marketing Operations. The role will require the individual to work with their counterparts for Marketo administration and collaborate with marketing managers within CIT as well as manage instances of Marketo or other resources are applicable. Strong collaboration with the marketing team and other support teams will be required.Key Responsibilities:

  • As an administrator of Marketo, work closely with internal technology and operations teams making sure change management is strictly enforced and downstream impacts of changes potentially made in other environments.
  • Work closely with Marketing managers on translating marketing campaigns into Marketo campaign programs and nurtures.
  • Work with Marketing Operations Manager and other staff on execution of campaigns, oversee operations, QA, and reporting for all marketing automation activities
  • Improving and optimizing programs to meet corporate goals, improving speed of customer acquisition, moving prospects through the sales funnel quickly, identifying upsell opportunities, preventing over marketing.
  • Continuously improve and optimize lead scoring rules with analytics groups
  • Stay abreast of best practices, current trends and technology developments in marketing technology
  • Keep documentation of Marketo structure, changes, in centralized place
  • Use system tools such as Jira and Confluence, to manage and report on request coming into Marketing Operation Administrators from consumer team
  • Work with VP of Marketing Operations to prioritize project request coming from JIRA tickets
  • Optimize process over time to meet consumer business marketing need requirements, keep Marketo instances clean and reportable.
  • Lead group on collecting requirements, leading discussions, and developing lead scoring, and lifecycle models for different business units.
  • Act in a consultative capacity to assist business units with readouts of automations, and provide suggestions for changes to programs.
  • Work with the VP of Marketing operations to build out the Marketing Automation stack to capture end to end engagement measurement.QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or business, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 3+ years Marketo administration experience
    • Marketo Certified Expert highly desired
    • Expert knowledge of marketing and data quality best-practices, digital marketing
    • Strong marketing strategy and analytical skills in order to test and analyze workflow, content, lead scoring and tactics for improvement
    • Strong understanding of the web, CMS, and related technologies - HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience is preferred
