Compliance Specialist will lead compliance support activities and
ensure effectiveness of the Compliance Program for assigned
products, services and business activities. Responsible for
regulatory oversight of core or significant high risk product lines
that contain complex banking functions.About the team:------The
Global Financial Crimes (GFC) Governance team is responsible for
the oversight of the Financial Crimes Compliance function across
FIS, including its subsidiaries and affiliates.--The GFC Governance
team's key responsibilities include Policy and Program Governance,
Risk Assessments, Exam and Issue Management, Committees and Forums,
Training, Technology Governance, and Reporting for all matters
impacting Financial Crimes. --In addition, the GFC Governance
function plays a critical role in liaising with AML and Sanctions
officers of FIS's subsidiaries as well as other Risk and Compliance
functions across the Legal, Compliance & Corporate Affairs division
at FIS.What you will be doing:In this role, you will be
instrumental in developing and maintaining robust reporting systems
that ensure our compliance with regulatory requirements. Your
expertise will help design key performance indicators (KPIs) and
key risk indicators (KRIs), create comprehensive reporting
templates, and perform in-depth data analysis to support our
Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud systems.
- Support the GFC Governance team to design, evolve, and scale
the data governance framework, including the approach, processes,
policies, technology, procedures, and assessing gaps in the
enterprise data infrastructure that impact Financial Crimes
compliance functions.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of
reporting systems tailored for financial crimes compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and
gather business requirements for compliance reporting.
- Develop and refine KPIs and KRIs to effectively monitor and
measure the performance and risks associated with financial crimes
compliance.
- Design and maintain reporting templates that provide clear,
concise, and actionable insights for the compliance team and senior
leadership.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns,
and anomalies that could indicate potential financial crimes.
- Develop and maintain data quality scorecards to ensure the
accuracy, completeness, and reliability of compliance data.
- Create and manage data validation reports to ensure the
integrity of data used in compliance systems.
- Conduct what-if analysis to simulate various scenarios and
their potential impact on sanctions and AML systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT,
compliance, and business units, to ensure the effectiveness of
reporting systems and compliance measures.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best
practices to continually enhance compliance reporting systems and
processes.--What you will need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g.,
Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering).-- Typically requires
five or more years of experience in the regulatory compliance
field.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining reporting
systems, with a focus on financial crimes compliance.
- In-depth understanding of financial crimes regulations,
including sanctions, AML and fraud requirements.
- Strong skills in gathering and documenting business
requirements from various stakeholders.
- Expertise in designing and implementing KPIs and KRIs to
monitor compliance performance and risks.
- Experience in creating reporting templates, generating data
quality scorecards, and developing data validation reports.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, or
similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to perform in-depth data analysis and what-if
scenarios.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with
a proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to build relationships and credibility across the
organization
- Effective communication and collaboration skills--Added bonus

compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is
$84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum
target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted
role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual
starting pay is determined additional factors, including
job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual
starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific
salary range for your preferred location during the hiring
