Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join a $1 billion mega-project in the Jacksonville area for a 6-8 month assignment. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for providing support to the Project Managers and Superintendents and responsibilities include but aren't limited to: performing field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team, and reinforcing communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants. Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist in creating and modifying project schedules, providing additional insights on weekly guidance and rationale for contingencies. Join on-site reviews with General Contractors to better understand scope and required coordination for a job. Perform field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team. Reinforce communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants. Coordinate with project management to ensure timely completion of change orders. Aid in recognizing and resolving on-site challenges and issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 1-5 years of construction experience including large projects, CM at Risk and/or Design-Build. Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products. Salary: $75,000-$100,000 Company Overview IslandSearch Group, Inc.
