the future.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a
Level 4 Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in NAS
Jacksonville, FL.Perform as the lead Windows Systems Administrator
for a classified government contract.Communicate effectively at all
levels of the organization, with internal and external customers,
in written and verbal format.Maintain smooth operation of
multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network,
software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project
managers, end users, and customer and IT management.Support
multiple networks and ensure necessary administration tasks are
completed; direct others as necessary.Recommend and implement
system enhancements that will improve the performance and
reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching,
monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration
management.Provide backup and recovery services; manage file
systems anddisk space; manage virus protectionon a routine
basis.Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify
file permissions and security access lists.Develop and document
technical processes and procedures as needed.Analyze internal and
external customer requirements and determine equipment and software
requirements for solutions to problems by means of automated
systems.Design system architecture for solutions intended to meet
customer requirements.Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot
issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and
suggestions.Adhere to strict Information Systems security
guidelines in all cases.Report project status as required for all
recurring and non-recurring efforts.Work under minimal direction
and independently determine and develop approach to solutions.Basic
Qualifications:IAT Level 2/3 Certification (Sec +, CASP, CISSP,
etc---)At least 13 years of relevant experience with high school
diploma/GED OR 9 Years with Bachelor's.Willing to work a flexible
work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays and
weekends.Must maintain a valid U.S. passport.Must have an active
DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance with last investigation completed
within 6 years and maintain.Ability to obtain and retain Special
Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.Must meet
medical requirements for worldwide travel.Must attain and maintain
certifications required for the role.May travel up to 25% of the
time.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with the following:Triton
SystemsAll Windows Server and Desktop versionsActive Directory,
DNSGroup policy design, testing and implementationFamiliarity with
server backup solutionsExperience with Server Virtualization
technologies (Vendors Hyper-V and VMware)VMware vSphere, ESXi and
vCenterFamiliarity with SAN (storage area network)
solutionsUnderstanding of scripting languages; PowerShell
ScriptingRedhat Enterprise Linux AdministrationNetwork design and
configurationSQL/Oracle database familiarity is a
plusNGSkillsSalary Range: $101,600 USD $152,400 USDEmployees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
