active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Physical
Therapist position supports multiple K-12 schools within the Lake
County Public Schools district, providing direct physical therapy
services across approximately 16 campuses. The role involves
working primarily with students ranging from elementary through
high school, managing a caseload of about 100 students
district-wide. The assignment requires on-site presence and follows
a school calendar year schedule starting as soon as possible
through May 29, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored
physical therapy interventions to K-12 students in accordance with
individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
and modify therapy plans as needed. Manage therapy documentation
and timesheets in compliance with district requirements.
Participate in district onboarding and credentialing processes to
obtain necessary placement credentials and badges. Adapt to
caseload and schedule changes across various school sites
throughout the contract period. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Current professional license in physical therapy.
Experience providing physical therapy services in a school setting
is strongly preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work across
multiple sites, demonstrating flexibility and time management
skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage
effectively with students, families, and school staff. Location:
Tavares, FL area; services encompass multiple nearby schools.
