This position will be located on site in St Augustine, FL.In this role you will lead the execution and management of facilities projects that support the sustaining infrastructure and program facilitation requirements. This will include:

  • Gather, review, and finalize facility requirements data, equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, schedules, and construction feasibility.
  • Plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of buildings, structures, equipment, and other facilities.
  • Coordinate with Architectural and Engineering firms to develop design criteria and to prepare and review detailed drawings.
  • Prepare Scopes of Work and supporting documents for procurement of design and construction services.
  • Generate and/or review cost estimates to include design, equipment, installation, labor and materials, construction, and other related costs.
  • Inspect the construction and installation progress to ensure conformance with established requirements, plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Manage and execute multiple facilities projects simultaneously.
  • Forecast and report on project status, including key metrics for risk, cost, and schedule.
  • Produce and implement risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans as required.
  • Complete understanding and implementation of NFPA Codes and Fire Systems in an Aircraft Manufacturing facility.
  • Experience with Arc Flash Standards and preparing revised one lines in an industrial facility.
  • Creation and development projects based on facility needs and system knowledgeBasic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Architecture/Construction focus
    • 9 years' experience of project management, construction management, or related facilities experience
      • OR 7 years of experience with a Master's Degree
      • OR 4 years of experience with a PhD
      • Construction Management Experience on projects greater than $1MM
      • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility
      • Experience with design and construction contracts and design reviews
      • Ability to review and comprehend construction drawings and specifications
      • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office software applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
      • Experience with MS Project or other scheduling software
      • The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
        • Experience with AutoCAD
        • Experience in project cost estimating
        • Experience with facility design and drafting, including space layouts and utilization plans
        • Experience with design and construction of classified facilities
        • Experience with Building Automation Systems and Controls
        • Experience with IT network requirements, design, and construction
