Systems is an Industrial Engineer (Simulation) to join our team of
qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in
Melbourne, Florida.Responsibilities will include:Analyzes lead
times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to
meet customer demand most effectively and efficientlyBuilds
scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while
incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraintsDevelops
optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an
executable plan given various capacity constraintsIncorporates
complex interdependencies within a system to account for the
interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and
toolsCommunicates requirements planning and systems framework with
IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teamsWorks with
developers to design an interactive user interface that will be
effective at scheduling jobs across cost centersGuides digital
transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise
strategiesLeads and drives positive change using iterative and
agile methodologiesCreates new metrics and data visualizations to
monitor shop floor performanceCreates Industrial Systems Simulation
models and analyzes resulting data to support manufacturing
decision makingBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 2 years of
engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience OR Master's
degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 0
yearsMust have ability to obtain and maintain DoD secret or top
secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as required by
the businessAbility to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
(PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as required by the
businessMRP/MES or equivalent experienceExpertise using excel,
including macros, data mining, and pivot tables.Experience with
data analysis, or data visualization software applicationsPreferred
Qualifications:Experience working with cross-functional teams in a
manufacturing environment.Experience with improving manufacturing
workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation
methods.Computer programming and industrial systems simulation
experience (i.e Plant Sim, Simeo, etc.)Familiarity with mixed model
manufacturing operations.Experience with agile methods of project
management or development.Strong experience designing
visualizations in Tableau in a professional work
environment.Experience with SQL, Python, HTML, VBA, JavaScript, or
other programming languages.Active Secret DoD clearance

FL, USA.Salary Range: $64,600 USD - $97,000 USDEmployees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
