Job Description:

Growing engineering firm seeking a Drainage Professional Engineer (PE) to join their team.As the Drainage Engineer you will be responsible for managing drainage analysis, design and production projects; bridge hydraulic analysis; and environmental permitting in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), St Johns Water Management District (SJWMD), local municipalities and local drainage district standards, criteria and accepted practices.You will also assist with letters of intent (LOI) and mentoring, training and/or supervising junior engineers and engineering interns.Responsibilities:

• Desired Project Management Expertise
• Drainage analysis, design and production experience
• Bridge hydraulic analysis experience
• Environmental permitting experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), St Johns Water Management District (SJWMD), municipalities and local drainage district standards, criteria and accepted practices
• Advanced level of technical writing and communication skills required for technical reports and proposals
• Experience working on projects for FDOT
• Intermediate to advanced experience with roadway design, utility coordination and/or PD&EQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree title Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Must have Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Minimum 8 years of prior work experience in drainage analysis and design
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D with advanced knowledge of Microstation, Geopak, AdlCPR, and ASAD
  • Good listener and team player with a positive attitude
  • Critical thinker who uses logic and reason to solve problems
  • Organized and detail oriented with ability to multitask
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
