PRIME AE Group (www.primeeng.com), a multi-discipline Architectural and Engineering firm with 20 office locations and over 500 employees within the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast Regions, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join the structural engineering team at the Corporate office in Columbus, OH (Polaris area).You will be designing advanced structural systems within the respective markets listed below. These systems might include mat foundations, deep foundations, two-way concrete slabs, moment, braced and dual structural lateral load systems.Project types include:

• Healthcare
• Federal
• Justice
• Education
• Corporate Commercial
• Hospitality
• Industrial
• Military/DoD facilities and bases
  Position Overview:
  • Establish structural engineering scope of work, budget, schedule, and quality assurance of projects.
  • Oversee the development of large projects from inception to construction completion.
  • Perform and lead Condition Assessment projects.
  • Develop Proposals and create Presentations to clients.
  • Perform structural analysis and design using RAM Structural System and RAM Concept.
  • Perform structural engineering calculations and drawings with a thorough understanding of the requirements of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI and NDS.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Perform customary construction administration services.
  • Experience with Concrete, Structural Steel, Masonry and Wood.
  • Experience with commercial buildings and parking garages.
  • Large degree of inter-office collaboration with PRIME AE's Architectural & MEP Divisions.
  • Occasional pre-determined/scheduled travel will be required.Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience; the role will be customized/adapted to match the candidate's experience and career trajectory.
  • Attaining Revit proficiency is required.
  • Experience with Water/Wastewater Projects a plus.
  • Experience with Concrete Rehabilitation a plus.
  • Familiarity with Project management best practices a plus.
