We are committed to using our reach and size for good and strive to put quality eye care within reach of everyone, everywhere.Key Responsibilities:The Staff Engineer, Injection Molding, develops new R&D products from concept through feasibility and transfer to commercialization. A key team member in developing strategy for new product development and responsible for detailed planning in product development.Oversees early feasibility design development activities including coordinating lens design, pre-commercial manufacture, metrology, clinical testing, and analysis. Takes ownership for proving feasibility of new designs and preparing new products for commercialization. Identifies enabling technology needs and works with Engineering groups to develop new products.Determines resource needs to execute development strategies for new products to ensure that lenses meet performance needs of customers. Develops strong partnerships with Product/Process Development, Global Product Platforms, Engineering Subject Matter Experts and Material Leads to effectively implement strategies. Provides injection molding technical expertise in support of business needs from GSM, GSI, Claims, Consumer and Professional Marketing.Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Engages in Credo-based decision-making.\r
