Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior zTPF Operating System
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and leadership for zTPF operating
system software and mainframe platform capabilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain the zTPF mainframe platform
and operating system
Provide operational support for zTPF systems, including third-level
support and problem resolution
Required Qualifications
Proven experience with zTPF operating system, database, or TPF
communications code
Current knowledge of IBM Z hardware and software technologies
Strong knowledge of z/TPF operating system with assembler and C/C++
programming
Experience with zTPF control program internals and host
communications
Familiarity with adjacent systems like z/VM, z/Linux, and z/OS
