Job Description:

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

• Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization based on best practices.
• Execute strategies to optimize company and asset growth.
• Oversee process and order fulfillment management, systems & integration management, solve technical issues, and credential management.--
• Work with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Contribute to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews in order to achieve operational objectives. Prepare and implement production and quality plans based on customer service standards. Resolve problems and identify trends.
• Ensure adherence to key performance objectives to meet business and customer expectations.
• Work with Warehouse Manager to determine best practices in product handling and storage requirements and document to develop warehouse operations systems.--
• Establish, follow and enforce strategic plans, reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems, completing audits, and identifying trends to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.
• Provide outstanding leadership to team members, including opportunities for coaching and development, to maximize work output and work quality.
• Identify patterns and problem areas, and implement effective solutions to increase efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with any third-parties (vendors, suppliers, etc.) the company works with regularly to ensure smooth procurement and delivery of products and services. (This would include IT, building maintenance, etc.)
• Establish, follow and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
• Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions in order to meet financial objectives of the warehouse. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar required.
  • 5+ years relevant Management and Industry Experience.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and WMS systems. Vertical Lift systems experience highly preferred.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ethical leadership abilities.
  • Proven customer service experience with the ability to maintain relationships externally and communicate within all levels of an organization.
  • Extreme attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.--
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
