In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family, and other
members of the health care team, the--Advanced Clinical
Coordinator--Nurse is responsible--for supporting the successful
implementation and sustainability of advanced clinical through
educational and clinical applications.----The position is
responsible for the initial end user training in the use of
Advanced Clinicals with CPOE, and the ongoing educational support
to ensure adoption and integration.----This individual will work
with facility, division, and corporate peers to ensure advanced
clinical applications are well supported throughout the
facility.

What you will do in this role:
You will manage unsigned orders in MEDITECH concurrently and post
discharge.
You will manage unsigned PDoc notes concurrently and post
discharge.
You will manage incorrectly signed and rejected orders in MEDITECH
concurrently and post discharge.
You will collaborate with physicians to correct erroneous PDoc
entries or supervise physician assignment in MEDITECH.
You will act as a liaison to clinicians and physician level
providers to collaborate for resolutions at the source of data
quality issues.
You will establish data integrity auditing process.
You will participate full time in all training activities for
Advanced Clinicals. Assists the Director of Advanced Clinicals in
planning and completing individual training objectives for all user
groups.
You will provide initial orientation to Advanced Clinicals for all
new and existing providers; to include elbow-to elbow rounding
support.----
You will identify and reports system or build issues that
negatively affect adoption or performance.
You will participate in clinical review of order sets and
protocols.
You will support Director of Advanced Clinicals role in leadership
and establishing best practice models.
You will assist testing and training for new CPOE releases and
functionality.
You will participate in Performance Improvement Activities related
to Advanced Clinicals, including Core Team
Qualifications
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Bachelor's
Degree in Nursing or higher is required
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you
practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
4 years clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting as a
Registered Nurse is required----
4 years experience working with an Electronic Health Record system
is required; Meditech experience preferred--
1 year teaching experience (i.e. precepting, mentoring, in-service
provision) in a clinical environment is required--
