Operation New hope is a non-profit in the Springfield area of Jacksonville. The Ready4work program (under Operation New Hope) is responsible for providing job training, job placement and other basic support services to ex-offenders on probation or released from jail or prison. Ready4Work operates their program in downtown Jacksonville (Springfield) and in St Augustine.Position Overview: The primary purpose of the Job is to oversee the Jacksonville and St. Augustine facilities to assure a safe and conducive operation that supports the staff working on our campus.The Essential Duties & Responsibilities are listed here but are not all inclusiveOversee all vendors that support the local operation including but not limited to: HVAC, plumbing, roofers, elevator, landscape, cleaning, monitoring (security and fire), breakroom supplies, trash, handyman, inspectors (elevator, fire, COJ) and pest control.Overseeing the vendors includes the following:Opening tickets (with vendors) as necessary when there is an issue at the buildingCoordinating with the vendors for access to the building while on siteReconciling the invoice for services and submitting for paymentAssuring that preventative and scheduled maintenance occurs timelyObtaining quotes from vendors for project related workResponsible for minor maintenance/repairsResponsible to organize and implement projects that relate to the facilities (i.e. additional security measures, flooring project, setup for VIP events, etc)Responsible to oversee all safety initiatives and documentationManages the Maintenance Inbox to coordinate resolution of tickets that are raised by the staffAct as the back-up for Fleet ManagementRole does require some early morning / late afternoon interactions with vendorsGeneral Qualifications / Experience / Education: Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of property management experience or customer service or project managementPrior experience working at a non-profit is preferredMust be comfortable working around an underserved populationSuperior written and verbal communication skillsExcellent documentation and organizational skillsMust be able to lift 25lbsJob Type: Full-time, non-exemptJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:COVID protocols are in place including a mask requirement.Ability to commute/relocate:Jacksonville, FL 32206: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
