Summary: The Revenue Manager reports to the SVP of Revenue Acceleration and is responsible for managing the overall revenue and rate strategy for DLP Capitals Real Estate Managements multifamily assets and SFRs. As such, the Revenue Manager is required to be an expert in the revenue strategies, have sound knowledge of apartment community and multifamily operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Operations team to achieve targeted revenue weekly, monthly and quarterly.The role is also responsible for creating and executing Revenue strategies including: New Rent Pricing, Amenity Pricing, Rental Agreement Expiration Management, Renewal Strategy, Concession Program, Annual Revenue budgets and Reforecasts.

What You have already achieved: (Requirements)

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of experience in multifamily property management or related industry
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in a similar analytical role working with revenue management software, preferably in the real estate industry
  • Experience using Google Software Products, Excel, Appfolio, RentMaximizer, LRO, Yieldstar and/or similar industry-related software and pricing programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others
  • Strong project management skills required; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to change and work well in an autonomous dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% and work outside normal business hours at times depending upon workload
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively assess and address risk
  • Analytical background and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Bachelors degree in finance, mathematics, related major, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Impressive forward-thinking, strategic decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate and present complex information
  • Stellar organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to operate effectively under own initiative with limited oversight and broad directional guidance
  • Multifamily, Airline, Hotel, or Auto Leasing pricing model experience preferred
  • Outgoing and friendly yet authoritative communication style
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and methodical
  • Ability to adapt to change and work well in a dynamic environment

    What you are great at: (Responsibilities)
    • Conduct competitive market evaluations
    • Complete regression analysis to validate third market data for adjusting pricing for specific property and amenities
    • Conduct weekly and monthly performance measurement analysis to report to senior management regarding financial results (revenue, effective rent and occupancy trends) and market conditions (competitive landscape, new supply, macro-economic factors, etc.)
    • Provide revenue underwriting assumptions for existing portfolio, new developments, and renovation opportunities
    • Serve as liaison for Property Management communities to ensure consistent communication between Asset Management and Operations to achieve overall revenue targets for each community.
    • Partner with SVP of Revenue Acceleration to set up pricing for new development and lease-up communities
