Description: Emergency Response and Training Solutions (ERTS)
provides 24/7/365 emergency spill response management, waste
management, training, and other environmental services. Our growing
list of clients in the transportation, oil and gas, chemical,
manufacturing, and insurance industries are located throughout the
US and Canada. ERTS is only interested in positive minded
individuals with a strong drive for continual improvement and
commitment. ERTS is seeking a candidate for a full-time Project
Specialist position. This position entails assisting with spill
response contractor management and oversight, document acquisition,
regulatory reporting compliance (49CFR, 40CFR), written reports to
regulatory agencies. ERTS offers a competitive benefits package,

also operates shift schedules that require 8 or 12 hour shifts and
a rotation for weekend coverage.Key Responsibilities of the
position:Dispatch, manage, and work directly with spill response
subcontractors throughout North America to ensure a timely
successful spill cleanup, regulatory compliance, client
satisfaction with cost effectiveness in mind.Assist with telephonic
regulatory reporting in states/provinces across US/Canada to ensure
regulatory compliance on behalf of client Ensure consistent
communications to clients regarding the status of their incidents
through the ERTS Alerts IT/software system.Submit written reports
to regulatory agencies (final and interim reports)-- Follow all
client & ERTS special instructions/ protocols.Communicate
effectively to contractors, clients, regulatory officials, etc---,
through both written and verbal communication Perform data entry,
showing a strong attention to detail. Requirements:Must have some
relative experience in any of the following Environmental Science,
Chemistry, Waste Management, Health, Safety, Emergency Management,
or similar majors. The candidate MUST possess strong time
management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, &
ability to manage multiple projects.Be a self-starter, fast learner
and ability to work in a fast paced environment.Have excellent
interpersonal communications.Qualifications: The ideal candidate
will show a willingness to learn, research, and expand the services
offered. Communicate effectively to contractors, clients,
regulatory officials, etc---, through both written and verbal
communication. Perform data entry, showing a strong attention to
detail.JOB REQUIREMENTSA 2 year degree in Environmental Science,
Chemistry, Waste Management, Health, Safety, Emergency Management,
(or similar major) or hazardous material response experience is
required. The candidate MUST possess strong time management skills,
attention to detail, organizational skills, & ability to manage
multiple projects; Be a self-starter, fast learner and ability to
work in a fast paced environment. Have excellent interpersonal
communications. The ideal candidate will show willingness to learn,
research and expand the services offered. Experience with RCRA,
OSHA and DOT RegulationsHAZWOPER, IHMM, RCRA, DOT, OSHA training
