Description Specialization:Internal MedicineJob Summary:Seeking an Internal Medicine physician to serve as Internal Medicine Associate Residency Program Director with HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Jacksonville. HCA is a dedicated leader in graduate medical education with 300+ residency and fellowship programs across 16 states.

Position:

• Assist Program Director in the administrative and clinical oversight of the educational program
• Participate in academic societies and in educational programs designed to enhance educational and administrative skills
• Outpatient clinic with 50% clinical supervision and 50% administrative
• Patient mix: 1/3 medicare/Medicaid; 1/3 privately insured; 1/3 uninsured
• No call
• Weekdays only
• 36-physician Internal Medicine Residency ProgramQualifications:
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)
  • Broad knowledge of, experience with, and commitment to internal medicine as a discipline, patient centered care, and to the generalist training of residents
  • Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
  • No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
