career with us. SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced HR
Business Partner to support and guide the Crowley Logistics
business unit. Working closely with our Centers of Excellence
(COE), this role will provide consultation and expertise in all
areas of Human Resources while also providing leadership, strategic
counsel, advisory and consultative services to Crowley's largest
business unit. The successful candidate will fully develop an
understanding of assigned business areas and represent the
interests of those areas within and outside of People & Culture.
The role will report to the Vice President of HR Business
Partnering. Crowley Logistics is a singular supply chain division
which serves more than 12,000 customers and manages more than one
million shipments annually on a global scale. The group blends
company-owned assets and services with its worldwide network of
service providers to reduce complexity and add velocity to
customers' supply chains. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership and consultation and support to leaders
within assigned business are to maximize organizational capability,
create an excellent employee experience and cultivate our

relationship to diagnose and coach leaders on team, organization,
and their own effectiveness.
- Use understanding of business, company, and department goals to
identify needs, opportunities, solutions, and risks relating to
human resources programs and services, workforce productivity,
retention, employee engagement, organizational design, performance,
talent management, and diversity and inclusion.
- Drive the talent strategy for contract phase-ins/phase-outs and
lead key onboarding deliverables including but not limited to
workforce mapping, organizational planning, employee vetting,
onboarding, and training.
- Proactively assess team, manager and organizational needs to
make recommendations and lead/support the implementation of
appropriate solutions with a high degree of focus on scale and

partner with COEs as appropriate based on outcomes.
- Interpret and analyze workforce data to identify needs, risks,
and themes. Communicate findings with the business as well as COEs

- Participate in a variety of HR projects and assist with the
research, development, and implementation of HR initiatives.
- May lead HR related M&A efforts. EDUCATION: Bachelor's
degree in business administration, human resources management,
finance or a related field; or equivalent combination of post high
school education and equivalent work experience. EXPERIENCE: 8+
years experience operating in an HR Business Partner role.
- Interaction and participation with revenue and profitability
business meetings, discussions, and engagements.
- Experience supporting and establishing international locations
- PHR or SPHR certification as designated by the Human Resources
Certification Institute (HRCI) or a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
certification as designated by the Society for Human Resources
Management (SHRM) preferred TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in
Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
Proficient with HR information and talent acquisition/management
systems and tools. OTHER:

units/segments. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with
little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor
and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
