Job Description:

The IT Partner Relationship Manager is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning. This role supports Citi Retail Services (CRS) within the Personal Banking & Wealth Management Technology Organization. The role is a direct report to the PBWMT Retail Services Director who oversees the IT Relationship Management Technology Team and will matrix report to the General Manager for the Portfolio Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration of functions with understanding of client core business functions and partner with multiple senior management teams to meet goals and deploy new products and process enhancements
  • Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions) and communicate with external parties as needed
  • Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a technical expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Conduct management activities, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of experience
    • Comprehensive experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
    • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology
    • Proven interpersonal, management and prioritization skills
    • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
    • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure managing multiple activities and changing priorities
    • Proven ability to develop working relationships and approach work methodically with attention to detail
    • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly Key Qualifications and Skillsets include: Leadership Skills
      • Primary IT contact for Retail Portfolio - Conscientious partner and leader, committed to the vision and success of both Citi and the partner as well as the satisfaction of its customers. Passionate about building and leveraging relationships into mutually beneficial results.
      • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders - Skilled negotiator and influencer with ability to drive senior management and stakeholders at all levels to an optimal decision.
      • Accountable for Partner production environment - Anticipate risks and issues and drive remediation. Remain calm under pressure, analyze risk assessment, problem-solve and react decisively to minimize impact. Effectively explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Well versed in Production Support and Incident Management processes; develop strong relationship with respective teams. Communication Skills
        • Report status on General Manager's council and participate in Partner business review, strategic planning and partner meetings - Highly skilled, seasoned communicator committed to transparency; tailor message to audience.
        • Primary point of escalation for technology issues with direct line to Partner's management team - Able to summarize technical issues for senior audience while emphasizing critical risks, issues and program impact. Delivery Oriented
          • Leader for Partner prioritization, resource alignment and implementation. Develop and implement IT strategy, communicate changes and increase system stability via reduction of production issues. - Expert in delivering IT solutions for business and partner needs. Proficient in Citi SDLC processes, tools, CRS products, technology and playbook to deliver major initiatives.
          • Liaison between Business, Operations and IT responsible for delivery and performance of projects, products, services and platforms. - Exceptional relationship and team builder, collaborator and networker. Provide clear, focused - vision and execute delivery on large project requests. Strategically Minded
            • Collaborate with General Manager to strategize IT roadmap. Partner with Business Delivery and Partner Management to provide in-depth analysis, along with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. - Understand CRS product capabilities while looking to influence roadmap to support an increasingly cost-efficient digital-first environment.Able to decompose complex business and partner needs into discrete, actionable and clear projects, requirements and tasks with sound financial/benefit backing. Governance & Interaction Model Oversight
              • IT governance and oversight of Partner technology through reporting of budget, project, testing, and production environment performance. - Highly organized, process, control and risk-disciplined. Transparent communicator. Risk and data-driven approach to reach consensus and set clear direction.
              • Build and sustain interaction model supporting design and implementation of IT objectives. - Lead geographically diverse Education:
