You will serve as Regional Controller for the Americas Region with primary responsibility for overseeing all finance functions in the region; oversee all regulatory reporting for the U.S. and legal entity control for all subsidiaries within North America and South America; and serve as a member of the Finance Regional Leadership Committee and the Jacksonville office management teamYour key responsibilities will include:

• assist with ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all deliverables including group regulatory reporting submissions and tax submissions.
• issue resolution and query management.
• proactively share knowledge via cross training and team learning.
• reviewing and improving processes, controls and systems impacting your work area.
• reviewing up to date documentation of various processes and procedures.To be successful in this role, you will have 20+ years of post-qualification experience and hold an accounting qualification with sound technical accounting skills (CPA or equivalent) and a strong academic track record, with a Bachelors or Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP and have some direct experience, having worked in an audit firm or in the Finance team of an investment bank.We are looking for a self-starter with an aptitude for problem solving and a proven ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. The group is focused on providing strategic analysis and advice to Macquarie's businesses and senior management, managing Macquarie's funding, liquidity and capital position, ensuring Macquarie continues to meet regulatory and compliance obligations and managing Macquarie's corporate affairs.Salary range for this position: $285,000 - 375,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
