Within Finance Transformation we pioneer value creation within the function by optimizing processes and enabling Technology. Just as Fanatics continues to rapidly grow, we encourage our team members to do the same by supporting continued education and offering internal career advancement in various areas of Accounting and Finance.This newly created role is the result of tremendous growth within Fanatics and the Finance organization and will report to the VP of Finance Systems. Fanatics initiated an ERP/EPM evaluation in 2022, which resulted in the selection of Oracle Fusion, and is launching the program in early 2023 with the objective of delivering a system which supports current business needs while delivering scale for future business expansion. The project is viewed as a key strategic initiative within Finance and is expected to be released across multiple phases. The Director of ERP within the Finance Systems team will play a critical role in ensuring success across the project phases.The objective of the Finance Systems team is to work with both Finance and Technology teams to understand business requirements, identify/provide technical recommendations, oversee the build, and deliver the technical solutions to continuously improve and evolve the finance systems. The aim is to deliver improved control, automation, simplification, and convergence using next generation technology.Key Responsibilities:

  • From a project perspective:
  • Participate in design workshops and provide input based on subject matter expertise for all functional areas of the business given understanding of software capabilities.
  • Assist team in gathering business requirements.
  • Ensure alignment across projects phases as required.Ongoing and post project responsibilities include:
    • Support the VP in the management and execution of day-to-day activities of the Finance Systems team.
    • Serve as a functional expert in the software selected and be known across the organization as the SME and go to person for all the EPM systems selected.
    • Continue to lead discussions and discovery workshops with various business stakeholders to evolve system capabilities to support business needs.
    • Ensure all technical and non-technical options are considered when making recommendations.
    • Build and maintain a strong working relationship within both the Finance organization and the Technology function.
    • Support in the analysis and lead in the delivery of the reporting strategy/roadmap across Finance.
    • Deliver excellence by keeping abreast of latest trends and software capabilities.
    • Support the VP in driving best practices and standardization across Finance.
    • Ensure proper testing is conducted and manage risk across system enhancements.
    • Analyze and assess all change requests ensuring that impacts on other systems, reporting, data, and processes as well as integrations are properly considered.
    • Develop and oversee DR/BCP tests around Finance system annually or as necessitated by the business.
    • Direct and support the annual audit of system(s).
    • Work with Technology to troubleshoot, analyze and document Root Cause Analysis.Required Skills:
      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
      • 7+ years of experience managing ERP Systems with a strong understanding of Accounting and Planning concepts.
      • Have conducted at least 3 ERP implementations.
      • Oracle Fusion ERP required.
      • Oracle Accounting Hub preferred.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Big picture thinker with the ability to understand end to end processes.
      • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Experience working with cloud-based systems (SAAS).
      • Ability to manage a number of complex, fast-moving projects at one time.
      • Strong project management skills to ensure resources are effectively deployed.
