Located in Jacksonville, FL, Lakeview Health is a Joint Commission accredited facility specializing in the treatment of chemical dependency, dual diagnoses, alcoholism, and associated mental disorders. The Lakeview Health's alcohol and drug addiction treatment center was created to provide those persons suffering from drug addiction, alcoholism, and dual disorders with a suitable drug rehab environment in order to produce quality long term recovery. The touchstone of Lakeview's addiction treatment center is found in our ability to separate symptoms from core issues, while effectively treating the whole person.

We are looking for a Director of Nursing to join our management team and provide leadership and coordination of nursing functions. The Director of Nursing will supervise nursing operations, maintain performance improvement activities within the department, ensure delivery of excellent patient care, and recommend strategies to improve services. The Director of Nursing is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing team to ensure established goals are met and will work closely with the nursing staff to maintain the high quality of nursing care.

The Director of Nursing must have the ability to perform assessments, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation of patients and have a thorough knowledge of addiction pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment. The Director of Nursing will have the ability to provide department direction in regards to staffing, management, education, budget, compliance, and safety.

Requirements:

• Must have a current Florida RN license; BSN is strongly preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a hospital setting in a nurse management role, preferably 5+years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong persuasive and presentation skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations relating to substance abuse programs and knowledge of Joint Commission and DCF accreditation processes and requirements is strongly preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure exceptional patient care
• Proven experience leading and motivating a team.
• Experience in substance abuse or behavior health industry (at least 4 years)
• Experience training and developing their nursing staff
• Ensures excellent and appropriate documentation. In addition to a competitive salary
  
  Range of $95k-$125k, based on experience
