Job Description:

The Institutional Client Group ("ICG") and Control Operational Risk Vice President will work alongside a team of individuals who are responsible for centrally monitoring and reporting on risk identification, risk appetite assessment and risk analysis for Operational and Compliance risks across ICG businesses. The Vice President will accomplish results through obtaining in-depth understanding of Citi operations and working collaboratively across 3 lines of defense including business and risk owner stakeholders and Operational Risk Management to deliver on risk deliverables and reporting. The Vice President will be expected to exert strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-task across various business and proactively escalate in order to maintain high quality and timely deliverables.Responsibilities:

• Risk appetite statements: Support in facilitation, creation, change and robustness of risk appetite statement across top risks.
• Risk appetite assessments of top risks: Support in facilitation, coordination, provide first line challenge and reporting on Operational and Compliance Risks;
• Risk identification processes: Support in facilitation, coordination and provide first line challenge on the emerging risk profile of ICG;
• CCAR Scenario analysis and stress testing programs: Support team members in the facilitation, development, progress tracking and reporting on planned and changes in the scenario analysis annual plan;
• Lessons Learned: Support and lead lessons learned processes, root cause analysis, and look across ICG businesses for themes/emerging risk drivers;
• Key Reporting Indicators: Plan, facilitate, execute and report on risk data and metrics to ICG Management;
• Risk Reporting: Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to ICG's risk committees, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, businesses and 3 lines of defense, articulating remediation, mitigation and risk exposure;
• Coordinate with connecting Enterprise, Operational Risk and transformation programs to deliver changes and new risk requirements;
• Process Improvement: Assess and identify program improvements and efficiencies for continuously striving for a strong and sustainable risk and control environment;
• Connectivity: Drive initiatives for information sharing, communications and lessons learned across businesses, regions, legal entities, functions and risk owners;
• Work with Second Line and Internal Audit colleagues to coordinate ICG remediation actionsQualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of Investment Banking and ICG products experience
  • Experienced Risk and Control practitioner with First, Second- or Third-Line experience
  • Confident, assertive, knowledgeable, and articulate in managing meetings, presentation and conversing on operational risk issues
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive.
  • Good attention to detail, ability to highlight obstacles and concerns to managers.
  • Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced regulatory driven control environment.
  • Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency.
  • Understanding of ICG businesses, functions and controls is a plus
  • Six Sigma, Lean Processing a plus
  • Risk Metric reporting skills a plusEducation:
    • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
