Position Overview
Paysafe is currently seeking a Senior Partner Sales Manager to focus on new business sales in the Financial Services sector. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of exceeding new business revenue targets in the Payments industry to join our team as a Senior Partner Manager. The focus will be on new business sales in the Financial Services sector across North America. The opportunity will include selling Paysafe's product offering (card acquiring, payment gateway, alternative payment methods, Skrill/Neteller digital wallet and eCash proposition) to and through partners. This position will be focused on New Logo sales (signing new referral partners), and driving leads from those to closure through our North America direct sales team. This position will report to the Global Partner Director.

Responsibilities

  • Sign new referral partnerships (where partners refer sales leads into Paysafe)
  • Sell Paysafe product offering through referral partners across North America leveraging Paysafe's enterprise sales team for larger deals
  • Personally manage active partner-sourced deals to completion
  • Drive preference for Paysafe within new and existing partnerships
  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets with new logo/new business sales
  • Ensure Salesforce reporting is accurate and regularly updated, to ensure up to date forecasting of opportunities are maintained
  • Work closely with all business units, marketing, product, technology, and operations teams to identify impactful opportunities and drive partnerships to execution
  • Bring relationships in the payments industry that will assist and provide opportunity for revenue generation
  • Travel to key industry events in North America; including both domestic and international travel
  • Build working relationships at C-Level/operational level and use account mapping to develop and close opportunities over a long period
  • Own the sales process from lead to close, seeking to intimately understand needs and requirements and building a compelling, value-led proposition with buy in from all internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate and develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector/sub sectors in different regions
  • Build a strong network across the sector, developing our brand awareness and enhancing your own reputation as a subject matter expert
  • Show strong verbal and written communication skills through meetings, presentations, written proposals, and tender responses
  • Be a team player, helping to build a fantastic team spirit and thriving, ambitious culture Qualifications
    • 5+ years of new business sales experience in the Payments industry, with a demonstrable track record of exceeding revenue targets; demonstrated success in business development that resulted in revenue growth
    • High degree of knowledge on card processing, acquiring and online payments technologies
    • Has an excellent knowledge of the Payments ecosystem
    • Possesses a strong understanding of the Financial Services sector, with an understanding of the industry landscape and where Paysafe can help to drive value
    • Knowledge of ecommerce platform providers, system Integrators and their corresponding technical/payment infrastructure
    • Knowledge of, (and preferably relationships within), the payments partner ecosystem
    • A true "new business hunter" mentality, with an ability to source leads and create, nurture and close a pipeline
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially for in-person meetings and proposals
    • Can understand complex requirements, make thoughtful recommendations, and quickly build consensus with senior level internally and external stakeholders
    • Proven ability to work/perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Has superb organizational skills and understands the importance of accurate revenue forecasting
    • Creative problem solver and innovator - to build new business models
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
    • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables
