**The Opportunity**
In the role of **Manager, OT/ICS Consulting** , you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide consulting services and offer expertise and guidance in Digital Modernization & Transformation with a focus on Operational Technologies (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) such as Gas SCADA/Pipeline Management System, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Enterprise OT-IT Integration.
+ Manage and/or participate on a team of business and technology consultants to define strategies and roadmaps, develop solutions and requirements, and support clients with their digital transformation needs (technology, business processes, data, and organizational readiness)
**_This role has 80% delivery performance goal and 20% business development performance goal_**

**Key Responsibilities**
**Delivery Responsibilities:**
+ Manage client engagement for complex, transformational programs
+ Support development of business and technical strategy, business case and implementation plan for OT Modernization for natural gas utilities and transmission companies
+ Lead client interviews and facilitate engagement among stakeholders including client executives
+ Work with clients to document and/or discover current, identify/develop future states business processes, and perform gap analyses between them.
+ Provide functional and technical expertise in various aspects of Digital Modernization and OT
+ Perform and manage technical project work such as developing solution concepts, review of vendors design documents, requirements traceability, and lead / participate in system testing
+ Support or act as project manager to develop project plans, key milestones, and project control structure
+ Transfer knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others knowledge and skill levels
**Business Development Responsibilities:**
+ Contribute to the business development process as a subject matter expert (SME)
+ Support proposals and business development activities with clients
+ Create and/or support the publication of thought leadership material in areas of Digital, Operational Technology, and Utility Modernization
+ Represent Black & Veatch at various industry conferences & events
+ Identify industry trends and value-adding services
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar Technical domain or a Master's Degree
+ 7 years of experience in business and technology consulting, or relevant project implementation services as part of an OT/SCADA vendor team
+ Knowledge of pipeline and / or utility operations functions and their associated processes
+ Deep knowledge of System Architecture concepts, IT/Computing infrastructure, Telemetry infrastructure & protocols, RTUs /PLCs, User Interface & Situational Awareness Trends, Information Storage & Retrieval technologies, and Operational Data Historians
+ Actively and recently participated in at least two OT/SCADA projects through the complete lifecycle including requirements development, design, systems integration & implementation, and testing
+ Familiarity with major industry trends
+ Knowledge of multiple OT vendor solutions
+ Ability to travel up to 50%
+ Applicants for this position must have work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Black & Veatch Management Consulting (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status).
+ Demonstrated expertise in Organizational Change Management and Business Process Improvement
+ Professional certification such as Professional Project Manager (PMI-PMP), Lean, Six Sigma, Professional Engineer (PE), or similar
+ Deep knowledge of, and direct experience in, two or more solution areas such as: Gas SCADA, Control Room Operations, Pipeline Management Systems, DCS, etc.
+ Direct experience working for (with) natural gas transmission companies, gas utilities, and / or refineries; possessing advanced knowledge of their processes, operations functions, compliance & regulatory frameworks, and value chains.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
+ 7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment
