opportunities for YOU. ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of
Finance, Optum Specialty Practices, this position will be
responsible for supporting and partnering with the Group Vice
President, Business Development and their broader team, bringing
financial clarity on all planning, reporting, and analytical
matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning,
reporting and analytical activities, including, but not limited
to:Working closely with leadership team to formulate the
department's medium to long-term financial and strategic
plansMonitor monthly performance of all facilities and understand
and communicate how Business Development can lift top line results
via new physician recruitment, share of practice and strategic
service line programsAssist in the development of the new share of
practice program to drive top line growthCreate tools to monitor
and inform the team of physician engagement levels and
opportunities to increase share of practiceWork collaboratively
with Business Development leadership to optimize the supporting
infrastructure - improvements to Salesforce, Tableau, and other
dashboardsGenerate monthly operating and financial reports and
actively participate during review calls with leadershipOversee
financial systems administration, and assist with Accounting and
Revenue Cycle System managementOversee physician compensation
program, including generation of compensation statements and
coordination with payroll for processingLead budgeting and
forecasting cycles, and monitor and inform leadership of
performance against such, during the yearProvide ad hoc project
support to finance team and the market GVP/VPs, as neededTravel
required (25%) to different practices in FL. Qualifications 4-7
years of experience working in a Finance related roleQualified
candidate will be highly analytical, a critical thinker,
intellectually curious, and bring financial clarity to all business
partnersAbility to digest financial information, render judgment,
create context, and recognize patternsAbility to meet deadlines,
maintain attention to detail, and manage conflicting prioritiesVery
proficient to expert level using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
Access, PowerPoint), Tableau, EssbasePrior experience with
demonstrated success in a high-growth, rapidly changing
environmentCollaborate with other finance teammates, and across
departmentsExcellent communication skillsEducation:An undergraduate
degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Success
