The Director of Project Management Office (PMO) and Operational Performance is a high-visibility strategic partner supporting our Leadership Team and Business Units with effective execution and project management of critical initiatives across North America. Additionally, the role ensures PM@Siemens knowledge, certification, and standards are integrated into all North American business and customer-facing project management operations and processes.

You'll make a difference by:

  • Driving the execution of internal projects and initiatives across business units and collaborating with relevant regional and global partners.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership on emergent topics, meetings, and deliverables, including pulling and consolidating relevant data, analyzing and summarizing trends and implications, and developing impactful messages and presentations.
  • Serves as a thought partner and strategic advisor to SMO NAM Leadership Team, participating in meetings, high-reaching ideas, offering a different perspective, and following up on action items with the team accordingly
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to the Leadership Team, including regional, global, and functional executives, regarding high-impact decisions.
  • Coordinate and ensure regional adherence to requirements for product safety, quality standards, and technical product compliance with all industry and regulatory technical product specifications.
  • Define and supervise appropriate improvement targets together with management and functions.
  • Define and ensure implementation of PM@Siemens Project Management Coordination (PMO) policies for Mobility, NAM to ensure our overall PMO operations meet performance goals.
  • Standardizes the project-related governance processes and facilitates the sharing resources, methodologies, tools, and techniques.

    You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree, MBA preferred.
    • Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel.
    • Ability to read, analyze, communicate, and interpret rail industry and product-related technical information.
    • Ability to travel as needed to provide educational and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers.
    • Preferred to be an A or B-level Certified PM @Siemens Project Manager
    • 10+ years of successful experience demonstrating Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

The base salary range for this position in New York, NY, is $204,200 - $276,300. The salary range in Pittsburgh, PA, Jacksonville, FL, Alpharetta, GA, or Louisville, KY is $170,200 - $230,300. The annual incentive target is 20% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
