Job Description:
Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East
Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese
spreads, dips, entr--e's and more.Don's is a family-owned business
located in Schwenksville, PA and manufactures over 130 products
spanning across its three brands Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys
and Artisan Deli. We are currently hiring for a Region Sales
Manager who will be responsible for Florida, Southeast region, US
Military & alternate channels. The ideal candidate would reside in
Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami, Orlando (central or north Florida).
Travel would be 40-45%.Job responsibilities:Responsible for the
sales of products or services in the Florida & Southeast regions,
US Military & Alternate Channels by building product awareness and
drive sales. Act as a main point of contact with existing sales
accounts in Florida, Southeast, US Military & Alternate
Channels.Manage all existing accounts / distributors and builds a
network of sources from which to identify new accounts /
distributors. Manage activities of each account.Increase volume on
existing accounts.Sell-in new item launch and core items as needed
to both the account and end users. Manage local trade spending
programs; marketing contracts, slotting, and show allowances. Make
end user sales calls and find new end users for our products
driving incremental sales volume. Work with distributor
representatives to increase sales, educate and inspire them to sell
Don's every day. Work closely with Don's internal teams to outline
and clarify requirements, ensure products are built to
specifications, and address technical limitations without
comprising product vision. Manage all food shows, show allowances
and food show paperwork. Accompany the team to trade shows and help
with sampling when needed. Communicate and implement any price
changes as needed. Assist in penetrating new markets as needed and
assist with national trade shows.Communicate success stories, key
learning's, and other activities to the VP of Sales.Manage Military
Broker - IMT (Base Feeding), CONUS, DECA, OCONUS, JSVP, Air Force,
etc.Manage Airline opportunities that arise in the Southeast.Follow
