MoneySolver is adding a Student Loan Sales Manager to our team. Ideal candidates should have strong entrepreneurial set and sales background. We are looking to hire bold innovators who want to join a growing team to lead the buildout, execution, and hyper-growth of our new student loan products team. This is a very hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves type of position, and involve writing scripts, taking calls, handling client escalations, revamping sales models, creating servicing workflows, and more. Additionally, this position will review and make recommendations, implement new product features for existing business products lines as customers provide real-time feedback to product gaps, and much much more.
Essential Job Functions:--- Manages a complete product team consisting of varying mix of sales consultants, front-end analysts, and back-end servicing agents each with their own personal scorecards, daily / hourly goals, objectives, and revenue quotas. --- Partners with the reporting team to create accurate and timely reporting to the rest of the company to ensure data integrity and consistency --- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of consultants, analysts, and agents on the program accordingly --- Provide on-the-ground support for the team they work with prospects and clients --- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs--- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume.--- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team--- Present sales, revenue and realistic forecasts to the management team--- Implement planning, incentives and communications for the assigned team--- Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional. --- Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily goals--- Supervise team in accordance with company policies and procedures--- Provide coaching for existing team members and training for new employees--- Establishes internal business relationships and facilitates the implementation of product changes through other parts of the organization--- Engages and interacts with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups, and information gathering sessions.
Minimum Requirements:--- 3-5+ years in leadership sales position --- Strong decision-making abilities --- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent experience--- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets--- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences--- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization--- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close--- Strong business sense and industry expertise--- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills--- Flexibility schedule--- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills--- Experience reporting to a senior management team--- Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times--- Strong work ethics; leading sales team by example--- Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment--- Highly proficient computer skills including email, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
