Registered Nurse PRN on our 3 Central-MSCU floor, you willbe
responsible for the delivery of qualitypatient care utilizing the
nursing process under the direction of departmentalleadership.
Apply your nursing knowledge derived from education and
experienceas foundation for patient care, communication, and
documentation on the unit. Weare seeking a Registered Charge Nurse
who has the same passion for patient careas we do.
- You willprovide quality patient care, in keeping with the
philosophy andobjectives of the hospital and department.
- You willmaintain and support the standards of nursing care and
practice in orderto meet the healthcare needs of patients, their
families and thecommunity.
- You willprescribe, delegate and coordinate all nursing care
provided to assignedpatients and be responsible for meeting all
standards associated withperformance, nursing practice and nursing
- You will assess, plan,implement, evaluate and coordinate
treatment plans in collaboration withthe patient, the patient s
family and other members of the healthcareteam.
- You will demonstrate theability to manage critical situations
and make care-based decisions.
- You will educate patientsregarding their medications, procedure
and treatments, providing patientsand their families with support
throughout their stay.
- Must be agraduate from an accredited school of Nursing:
Associate's Degree in Nursing orhigher is required
- Must be licensedas a Registered Nurse in the state which you
practice and/or hold an activeCompact/Multi-State RN license
- A currentAmerican Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Basic Life Support (BLS)Health Care Provider is required
- Current AmericanHeart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) is preferred and required to be
obtained within 6 months ofhire/transfer date
- Must have atleast 3-5 years of relevant experience, critical
care experience preferred Nowcelebrating over 50 years of service -
