Actalent is looking for full-time Medical Assistants to support our client, a leading local healthcare organization, onsite with several locations throughout Jacksonville. Job responsibilities--- Provides nursing assistance to physicians--- Obtains vital signs--- Greets and chaperones patients during their visit--- Maintains medical documentation--- Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per the physician--- Processes prescription requests and referralsQualificationsExperience--- 6+ months in Primary care settingEducation--- High School Diploma/GED (Required)--- Associate's Degree (Preferred)Licenses and Certifications--- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA) (Required) About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
