Job Description:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for helping surgeons in the operating room. OR Nurses will prep the operating room and the patient for surgery and make certain that all equipment is sterile and working properly.ResponsibilitiesOR Registered Nurse responsibilities include:

Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the procedure.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and give instruments and supplies to them during procedures.
Preserving and logging the items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within the past two years.

Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
