Job Summary and Qualifications The CV Surgery Coordinator is responsible for the Cardiovascular patient population and management including participation in performance improvement based or evidence-based practice and contributing to registry results with national benchmarks. This individual will be self directed, flexible and work independently with excellent verbal and written communication. Proficient with Microsoft Access, Work, Excel and Power Point Requires experience and knowledge of procedures and biomedical products related to cardiac surgery cardiovascular procedures. Requires experience with data management systems, clinical data analysis, process improvement methodology, and direct care and education of CV patients. What qualifications you will need: - Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher is required - Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license - A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required - A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required - Cardiovascular Specialty Certification or CCRN strongly preferred - At least 4 years of acute care/Hospital RN experience is required - at least 2 of those years in the Critical Care Specialty Memorial Hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1969, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
