your future. Responsibilities A Postdoctoral Research Fellow
position in Allergic Reactions to Drugs, Vaccines and Therapies
Laboratory, is available at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Established
with the recruitment of Dr. Kimberly Blumenthal (Principal
Investigator), Mayo Clinic’s first research program in Drug
Reactions is dedicated to transforming the understanding,
prevention, and management of adverse drug and vaccine reactions.
The program designs and conducts clinical research that combines
traditional clinical research with clinical epidemiology,
informatics and artificial intelligence, computer simulation,
implementation science, and economic analyses. Working toward the
goal of improving patient outcomes in drug allergies, the program
utilizes access to a wide range of patient data for research and
resources for computer-assisted analyses. The laboratory seeks to:
• Advance epidemiology, outcomes research, and implementation
science to improve the safety, effectiveness, and equity of drug
allergy evaluation and care. • Foster translational discovery
through collaboration with wet lab scientists, integrating clinical
insights with the development of novel biomarkers and diagnostic
tests. • Bridge science and practice by implementing evidence-based
strategies that reduce harm, optimize medication use, and improve
patient outcomes across diverse healthcare settings. • Train and
mentor, the next generation of investigators and clinicians in drug
allergy research, cultivating a collaborative and innovative
research environment. The laboratory has large active federal
grants and collaborations with physicians and scientists from Mayo
Clinic in Rochester and Arizona and Massachusetts General Hospital,
Boston University School of Medicine, Vanderbilt University Medical
Center, Duke University Medical Center, University of Texas
Southwestern, Stanford University Medical Center, University of
California San Francisco, and others. Qualifications Must have a
Ph.D. , D.Ph., PharmD or M.D. , or equivalent doctoral degree in a
field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is
appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one
prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere. Must
have a Ph.D. , M.D. , or equivalent doctoral degree in a field
