Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled CT (Computed Tomography) Technician to join our faith-based healthcare organization. Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and industry standards. Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients to achieve optimal results. Assess diagnostic images for quality and coverage, escalating technical issues to the appropriate channels for swift resolution. Maintain CT equipment, perform routine checks and troubleshooting, and report maintenance needs to ensure operational functionality and safety. Record and maintain accurate patient records; ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and confidentiality guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare team members, including radiologists, to determine appropriate diagnostic techniques and support tailored treatment plans. Proficiency in operating advanced CT imaging systems. Strong understanding of radiology principles and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration. Detail-oriented with an acute ability to identify inconsistencies or abnormalities in diagnostic results. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Possession of a valid state license to practice as a radiologic technologist with a specialty in computed tomography.
