Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
(RN) for our Emergency Department, a crucial role aimed at
providing top-tier emergency medical services within a faith-based

expert medical care. Provide immediate medical attention to
patients in emergency situations, including assessment, diagnosis,
and treatment. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other
medical staff to formulate treatment plans. Document patient care
services accurately and comprehensively. Administer medications and
monitor responses to treatments. Advocate for patient needs and
provide health education and support to patients and their
families. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment within
the department. Adhere to departmental protocols and guidelines
while upholding the highest standards of patient care and
confidentiality. Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on acute
care and trauma. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving
skills. Ability to handle high-stress and fast-paced situations.
Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic
Life Support (BLS). Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) is preferred.
