Job Description:
Ascension, a leader in faith-based healthcare, is seeking a
dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit. This
pivotal role focuses on providing care to patients with acute
conditions requiring constant monitoring and specialized medical
equipment. Join our committed team and contribute to our mission of

patient-centric approach. Monitor and record patients' vital signs
and medical information using telemetry equipment. Respond quickly
and competently to any changes in condition or emergencies,
ensuring patient safety. Administer medications, fluids, and
treatments per physician orders, observing for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, health
maintenance, and disease prevention. Coordinate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document all patient care services and interventions in the
patient's medical record. Participate in continuous education
sessions and staff meetings to enhance nursing knowledge and
skills. Proficient in using telemetry devices and interpreting
cardiac rhythms. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of
employment. BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. ACLS (Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred.
