Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital seeks a dedicated Nurse
Educator specializing in Critical Care to enhance the competency
and educational advancement of our nursing staff within critical
care units. Join our committed team in a dynamic healthcare
environment where you will leverage your expert knowledge and
teaching skills to develop and implement training programs tailored
to meet the needs of critical care nursing. This pivotal role
supports clinical excellence and high-quality patient care by
focusing on continual learning and improvement. Design, implement,
and evaluate educational programs tailored to the needs of critical
care nurses. Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to assess
developmental needs and performance gaps. Conduct hands-on clinical
training sessions and workshops. Stay updated with latest in
critical care and educational methodologies. Develop educational
materials and course content relevant to critical care. Mentor and
coach nursing staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational sessions and modify
programs based on feedback and outcomes. Strong knowledge of
critical care nursing practices and principles. Excellent teaching
and communication skills. Ability to develop and implement
effective training programs. Proficiency in clinical simulation
management and e-learning platforms. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Certification as a
Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred. BLS/ACLS instructor
certification desirable.
