Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/08/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a fast-paced bariatric surgical unit with required Florida or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work on a 30-bed bariatric surgical telemetry unit - Cares for pre- and post-bariatric surgical patients and other surgical cases including vascular, urological, and colorectal surgery - High acuity, fast-paced environment with telemetry monitoring - Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 - Every other weekend and Easter coverage required - Both 36- and 48-hour contract options available - Responsibilities include managing care for bariatric and surgical patients in a telemetry setting - Local candidates accepted but may receive a reduced rate based on proximity to facility - COVID-19 vaccination no longer required - Team members should discuss potential contract extensions 45 days before end of current contract - Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding /n /n Requirements/n - Active FL or compact RN license required - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - NIH Stroke Certification preferred - Minimum of 1 year RN experience required - Primary source license verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start - Valid U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-669502.
