Job Description:
Ascension Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated
Registered Nurse to join our Best Float Pool team within the
Critical Care Unit. This unique position offers the opportunity to
work across various critical care environments, providing
compassionate, personalized care in line with our faith-based
mission. As a member of our float pool, you will play an integral
role in delivering exceptional care, adjusting to diverse settings,
and collaborating with different healthcare teams to ensure optimal
patient outcomes. Your expertise in critical care nursing will aid
in our mission to innovate healthcare and support our community’s
health. Provide high-quality nursing care in varying critical care
units based on daily assignments. Assess patient conditions through
diligent monitoring, reporting, and recording of symptoms or
changes in patients' statuses. Communicate effectively with
patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive
care planning and documentation. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed and monitor reactions or side effects.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and
staff. Participate in continuous education to meet the highest
standards of nursing practices. Strong clinical skills in a
critical care setting Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new environments
Detail-oriented with strong observational skills Proficiency in
using medical software and electronic health records Medical

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in Critical Care
Nursing (CCRN) preferred
