Job Description:

Aveanna Healthcare, a pioneer in providing diversified home healthcare services, is currently seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) to provide private duty nursing care to patients in their homes. As a Private Duty RN, you will work closely with patients and their families, offering one-on-one care and making a significant difference in their day-to-day lives. This role involves monitoring patient health conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of home-based care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for the patient in their home environment. Administer medication, monitor patient's vital signs, and maintain accurate health records. Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures. Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care efficiency and effectiveness. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in administering medications and managing IVs Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure Keen assessment skills to determine effective treatment plans Capability to handle emotional and physical demands of home care settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice CPR certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred
