Verifies physician orders, screens patients for appropriateness of study, educates patients, selects appropriate protocols, and demonstrates ability to problem solve image quality. Provides patient care for a population base of all ages including pediatric through geriatric. Assures the equipment is functioning properly. Prepares radiopharmaceuticals. Coordinates technical work and patient flow. Provides computer-enhanced post-processing of procedure. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and a professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. May be required to work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.
