Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide expert
post-operative care in a travel capacity across our nationwide
facilities. This position offers the unique opportunity to work
within a faith-based network dedicated to uplifting communities by
enhancing patient health and recovery. You will use the latest in
medical technology and receive support from a leading team while
delivering a high standard of care consistent with our mission of
innovative, compassionate service. Provide direct nursing care for
post-anesthesia patients across different facilities. Evaluate
patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed.
Document patient history and treatment procedures. Educate patients
and their families on post-operative care and health maintenance.
Ensure the effective operation of health technology systems.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with
procedures, rules, and regulations. Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Strong clinical skills in post-anesthesia care. Proficiency in the
use of medical software for patient management. Ability to adapt to
varying work environments. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Capacity to handle multiple patient care
priorities effectively and empathetically. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice. Basic Life
Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certifications.
