Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our
Critical Care Unit (CCU) who embodies our commitment to providing
compassionate, personalized care to our patients. In this role, you
will join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals driven by our
mission to transform healthcare through innovation. You will have
the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in
a supportive and faith-based environment. Monitor critical patients
for changes in status and indications of conditions such as sepsis
or shock and initiate appropriate interventions. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor reactions.
Operate life-saving equipment such as ventilators and
defibrillators. Coordinate with healthcare teams to assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Participate in
educational sessions to enhance skills and ensure the highest
levels of care are maintained. Strong clinical skills in a critical
care setting Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure
environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic health
records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
employment Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
