Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse to join our Observation Unit, providing critical care and
monitoring to patients in a dynamic environment. This role is

services. Monitor and assess patient health status, adjusting care
plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals to implement effective patient care
strategies, discussing patient progress and responses to treatment.
Administer medication and treatments according to prescribed
protocols, ensuring thorough documentation. Educate patients and
families about health status and ongoing care requirements,
promoting preventive health measures. Maintain a safe and clean
working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. Provide emotional support to patients and their
families, addressing any concerns or fears. Strong clinical skills
in patient assessment and acute care Ability to operate medical
equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical
thinking and problem-solving abilities Compassionate and effective
patient and family advocacy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
